“Eleven years ago my husband was injured in a fall at work. The fall resulted in injuries to his neck. During the past 11 years he has suffered from chronic pain and depression. Prior to going to Maude he had days when he couldn’t get out of bed and he hated leaving the house.
Many days he took as many as 20 pain pills along with other prescription medication trying to get some relief from the pain. Unfortunately the pain continued and the depression grew worse. Between the pain, the depression and the pain medication he was unhappy, often grumpy and frequently not a pleasant person. He missed many family get togethers because he couldn’t stand the thought of leaving the house or being around groups of people; even family that he loved.
Since going to Maude he has drastically reduced the amount of pain medication he takes (2-6 per day); even having days that he has been able to go without any pain pills. Although the pain and depression are still present Maude has been able to drastically reduce both. On most days my husband is once again a happy person that enjoys his family and getting out of the house. I will forever be thankful to Maude for giving my husband his life back and giving my family and myself our loving father and husband.”
