Redesigning SacramentoHypnotherapy.com was one of our favorite projects to date! Maude, the owner of the company, is an awesome person to work with. Our goal for Maude’s site was to make it as user-friendly and search engine-friendly as possible, while making sure there was plenty of engaging content and calls to action. Their original site opened with a flash intro site … not effective for search engine optimization. In addition, there were a number of other on-page SEO elements that were missing, including robots.txt, xml and html site maps, the lack of heading tags, and a few others. We fixed all those issues and also set up SEO-friendly URL’s and site structure.
When it came to design, Maude wanted to use the Sacramento Hypnotherapy logo as inspiration, so we matched up the colors and designed an easy to navigate layout. We expanded each particular issue Maude deals with into its own separate page, with its own content and testimonials to add social proof. In addition, we added her social media accounts, linked her Yelp reviews, embedded the overview video, and added a blog where she can keep her patients updated and informed.
Overall we are very happy with the final product and more importantly so is Maude!
